A Chartered Manager is someone who can take responsibility for people, projects, operations and services to deliver long term organisational success, with the professional recognition of their ability to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate their commitment to continual development.

This apprenticeship is a three-year program. It comprises nine week-long study modules across three academic years, each followed by a work-based assignment and a substantial work-based project during year three. The modules are residential at the Manchester Metropolitan University (all travel and accommodation costs will be covered by Amazon).

You'll develop lifelong skills in strategic leadership. This programme allows you to gain valuable management knowledge, and the opportunity to apply it in the workplace.

Successful completion will result in a fast-track BA (Hons) Business Management Professional degree. You can join a community of gold-standard managers by achieving Chartered Manager status from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).

The programme has been specifically designed for people with existing supervisory/management experience, who have aspirations of moving into leadership roles, or want to advance their managerial practice with the support of a cutting-edge university education.

The early units provide an introduction to strategic leadership, operations and technology, sales, marketing and business finance. Apprentices will be encouraged to demonstrate how they can apply these skills and worldwide best practice at work. Later units explore project management, strategy, and digital technologies in business and leadership techniques.

The programme will leave graduates with the experience and competence necessary to take successful long-term managerial responsibility for people, projects, operations and services within the business.

The fact that after already completing one of Amazons’ apprenticeship programmes, I have decided to join another one, speaks for itself.
