Developers at Amazon work on real world problems on a global scale, own systems end-to-end, and influence the direction of our technology that delights customers around the world. It's a 48 month programme, working with some of our exciting industry leading teams like Prime Video and Alexa.

In your first year you will cover modules such as:
- Advanced Java
- Test Driven development
- Web applications development
- Maths and Algorithms
- Systems development
- Data communications and network security

Successful apprentices will not only achieve a Level 4 apprenticeship qualification as a Software Developer and a BSc as Digital and Technology Solutions Professional, but will be provided with technical training and the opportunity to apply their knowledge within a work based environment. You'll continue to expand on your knowledge, diving deeper into the overall skillsets SDE’s need to be industry leaders.

By specialising in Software you should be able to design, build and test high-quality software solutions; aiming to apply engineering principles to all stages of the software development process, analysis and design, development and data requirements.
