The Digital and Technology Solutions Professional Degree Apprenticeship gives individuals a well-rounded ability and competence to work as an IT Consultant within Amazon - to perform technical process improvement tasks in a range of environments to solve business problems.

You'll present optimised solutions to improve business process and workflows through improved technology, recommend options based upon risks, costs vs benefits, and impact on other business processes.

You might participate in walk-throughs for IT, identify and document key risks within the organisation, support training of end-users in preparation for system activation or evaluate the success of a new system, process or initiative.

Successful apprentices will achieve a BSc (Hons) in Digital & Technology Solutions and be provided with technical training and the opportunity to apply their knowledge within a work based environment over a four year period.

The experience in the workplace coupled with the degree provides a phenomenal foundation for a career in software development. The skills I have learned will allow me to adapt to new jobs throughout my career. I plan on climbing the software engineering ranks in hope of one day becoming a Principle Engineer.
