A Team Leader apprentice is a first-line management role. As the apprentice, you will have operational/project responsibilities or responsibility for managing a team to deliver a clearly defined outcome. You will provide direction, instructions and guidance to ensure the achievement of set goals. The key responsibilities of your apprenticeship will include supporting, managing and developing team members, managing projects, planning and monitoring workloads and resources, delivering operational plans and resolving problems.
The programme has been specifically designed for people ready for a supervisory experience with aspirations of moving into leadership roles, or want to advance their pre-existing supervisory skills.
You will develop skills in time management, leadership styles, project management and much more throughout your apprenticeship and exercise these skills in your day-to-day Logistics Supervisor role in one of our Delivery Stations.
Completion of the Team Leader level 3 apprenticeship could lead to management roles or the Chartered Management Degree apprenticeship (level 6).

"The team leader apprenticeship has challenged me enough to push beyond boundaries and improved on my weaknesses as an individual. I have learnt different management skills which I have applied in my daily tasks. I have acquired knowledge in self and team management and understood team dynamics. I have also understood the importance of feedback and applied motivational skills at work to improve performance. I am happy with choosing to do the apprenticeship and looking forward to applying my skills and knowledge in future at Amazon as a leader."
