Qualification & LevelBA (Hons) Business Management Professional Degree and Level 6 Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship standard, plus Chartered Manager status from the Chartered Management Institute (CMI).
Working HoursFull-time shift pattern - 40 hour working week. This will include weekend and/or night shift working.
Office TypeWarehouse operations environment
Training BreakdownWorkshop based including in-person training and online virtual classrooms.
Required Skills & Qualifications

For the apprenticeship programme you must be eligible for government funding and for this you need to:

  • You are a UK national, or a non UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national and have settled status in the UK, and have lived in the UK or an EEA, or British overseas territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship (September 2025)
  • You will be resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program
  • You are not registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later
  • You will be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2025)
  • Two A levels at grade ‘C’ or above (or equivalent) plus a minimum of two years’ experience working in a supervisory role.

You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship

Shift Manager in one of our operations buildings, responsible for leading a team in the heart of our busy operation. Successful apprentices have also moved into other business areas in middle manager roles.

Virtual / Onsite Assessment Centre
Assessment centres include: a group exercise, presentation and individual interviews

(Assessment centres for this role are expected to take place between Feb - May 2025)

If successful we will extend you an offer to join our programmes and our recruitment teams will send you a contract of employment
Onboarding process
Our recruitment teams will complete the necessary background checks, register you with the programme training provider and obtain any personal information needed to begin your employment
