Eligibility requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be a UK national, or a non-UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status.
- Have lived in the UK, an EEA country, or a British Overseas Territory for at least three years prior to the programme start date (September 2026).
- Be resident in the UK for the entire duration of the programme.
- Not be registered on another UK government-funded course ending August 2026 or later.
- Be 18 years or older before entering an Amazon building (September 2026).
- Hold two A-Levels at grade C or above (or equivalent).
- Prior two years’ experience in a supervisory role is beneficial but not essential.
- Not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.

As a CMDA apprentice, you’ll learn how to manage complexity, lead with integrity, and create an inclusive culture. You’ll work on real projects that make a difference - whether improving processes, analysing business data, or supporting innovation across our operations.
You’ll gain experience in:

You’ll combine classroom learning with hands-on experience in one of our fast-paced operational sites, working a full-time 40-hour week (including potential weekend and/or night shifts).
You’ll dedicate 20% of your time to university study - attending lectures and workshops, completing assignments, and developing your professional knowledge. The remaining 80% is spent learning on the job, supported by your manager and experienced mentors.
Successful apprentices often progress into management roles across Amazon’s operations network or other business areas, continuing to grow their leadership and business expertise.
