As a project management apprentice your problem-solving, planning, organizational, leadership, management, and communication skills are celebrated.

Training Breakdown

Apprentices will attend and complete modules in order to completing all Knowledge Skills behaviours culminating in an independent End Point Assessment.

The training is delivered in mix of remote and face to face sessions

Each week Apprentices will be allocated time away from their day to day roles to work on their Apprenticeship studies. You will spend approximately 80% of your working week learning from skilled members of the team whilst supporting learning on the job

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English grade C/4 or above

3 A levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above

You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship

What are the core components of this apprenticeship?

During your apprenticeship, you will acquire valuable skills and knowledge, including:

Team Collaboration: Learning how to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Identifying potential project risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
Resource Allocation: Skilfully managing project resources, such as budget, time, and personnel.
Strategic Planning: Developing the ability to create and execute project plans aligned with an organization's objectives.
Quality Control: Ensuring the delivery of high-quality project results through rigorous quality control and assurance processes.

What will I learn as I progress through my course?

  • You will support and lead projects, with the opportunity to innovate from day 1.
  • Identifying project goals, objectives, and stakeholders.
  • Creating project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Leading and collaborating with project teams to accomplish project milestones.
  • Analysing potential risks and implementing mitigation measures.
  • Keeping a close eye on project progress and providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Tackling unexpected challenges and finding creative solutions to ensure project success.
  • Utilizing data to make informed decisions and track project performance.

What qualifications will I gain?

  • BSc Honours degree in Project Management
  • International Project Management Association (IPMA) Level D qualification

On successful completion, apprentices are eligible to become full members of Association for Project Management (APM), the Chartered Body for the Project Profession.

Upload your CV, fill in your details, answer the eligibility questions and complete a short online assessment

(Applications for opportunities in the logistics side of the business, will open later in 2024)
Game-based assessment
You may be asked to complete a series of short game-based tasks designed to identify your strengths and assess your suitability for the role
Video Interview
Video interview to tell us about your background, motivations, knowledge, skills and interests
Virtual / Onsite Assessment Centre
Assessment centres include: a group exercise, presentation and individual interviews
Offer
If successful we will extend you and offer to join our programmes and our recruitment teams will send you a contract of employment
Onboarding process
Our recruitment teams will complete the necessary background checks, register you with the programme training provider and obtain any personal information needed to begin your employment
In-person Introductions
Ahead of starting with us, if you're role is based in a corporate office, you'll be invited to the Amazon building to get to meet the team and your cohort of apprentices.

For apprentices offered a role based in Manchester, the introduction session will be 27th June 2024.
For apprentices offered a role based in London, the introduction session will be 4th July 2024.
Start
You'll then be ready to join us on your Apprenticeship programme
