This apprenticeship combines practical, hands-on learning with academic study towards a BSc (Hons) in Project Management, giving you the tools to shape your future and drive success across Amazon.
About the role
Amazon's Project Management Apprentices work across a diverse range of Amazon teams - from HR and Operations to Technology and Entertainment. You could find yourself supporting people programmes, driving innovation in tech, optimising processes in operations, or contributing to projects in our entertainment businesses. Each apprentice is placed within a single team for the duration of the programme, gaining deep, hands-on experience while applying academic learning to real-world projects.
While we aim to match placements to your skills and interests, team allocation is driven by business need, so flexibility and curiosity are key. Wherever you’re based, you’ll play an active role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive meaningful results.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Lead and support project delivery from concept to completion
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
- Monitor progress using data and report on key metrics
- Manage risks, budgets, and stakeholder communications
- Present outcomes and recommendations to senior leaders
Eligibility requirements
To be considered for this apprenticeship, you must meet the following criteria:
- Be 18 years or over before the start date (September 2026)
- Have the right to live and work in England for the duration of the programme
- Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years
- Not be registered on another UK government-funded course ending August 2026 or later
- Hold at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English
- Have 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above
- You must not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level
What you’ll do
As part of this apprenticeship, you’ll be at the heart of projects that shape how Amazon operates and innovates. You’ll rotate through various initiatives, gaining experience in areas such as:
- Strategic planning and process improvement
- Budgeting, risk, and resource management
- Stakeholder engagement and communication
- Governance and compliance
- Data analysis and reporting
You’ll learn to use proven project management frameworks to deliver successful outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
