In this role, your primarily responsible for managing the movement of goods for a variety of customers. You will communicate and come into contact with a wide range of people and customers, and have a passion to meet customers’ expectations by providing a quality service that encourages repeat business, showing drive and energy even when challenges arise.

Required Skills & Qualifications | No formal qualifications required, however a level of competency in Maths and English will be required and assessed as part of the application process. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship |
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW:
Join us on our 15-month Supply Chain Apprenticeship scheme where you will continue in your key role as an operations associate, providing critical support in delivering to local communities and our loyal customers. The apprenticeship will enable you to grow your skills-set in crucial areas; it will broaden your knowledge of the transport and logistics industry whilst developing your competence in topics such as continuous improvement, communication and team working. Over the course of the apprenticeship you will work towards the Supply Chain Warehouse Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship certificate and have opportunity to undertake functional skills qualifications for English and Maths. No prior qualifications are needed to apply for this apprenticeship scheme.
You will build your skills over a 15-month period through:
- Attending a series of group tutor-led virtual classrooms
- Self-directed learning, including, but not limited to written assignments and recording learning activity
- Functional Skills tutor-led classrooms (English and Maths), if you do not already have the required qualifications
- Work-place development activities including research, shadowing and applying learning into your job role
- Regular support provided from a dedicated tutor assigned by our training provider
- Quarterly progress reviews with your line manager & tutor
