This role is suitable for someone who identifies as a people person and takes satisfaction from supporting and working with others. This role will often require you to make decisions and recommendations on what the business can or should do in a specific situation. You will be liaising and be influencing managers to change their thinking as well as bringing best practice into the organisation using company policy and current law giving guidance that is compliant and where errors could expose the organisation to employment tribunals or legal risk.

Office TypeDepending on the role you apply for, the positions will either be based in a Corporate Office (London). Or you will be a virtual worker allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK
Training Breakdown

You will build your skills over a 24-month period, starting in September. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally.

Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications

For the apprenticeship programme we prioritise applicants eligible to government funding for their apprenticeship and for this you need to:

  • Be 18 years or over before the start date
  • Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme).
  • Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
  • Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
  • Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending August 2025 or later
  • Have at least 5 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English
  • 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above

PLEASE NOTE: This position is a 24 month fixed-term contract.

You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship.

Diversity and Inclusion: Promoting diversity and inclusion within the workplace, fostering a culture of belonging and equity.

HR Manager; Talent Acquisition Manager; Organizational Development Specialist; Diversity and Inclusion Manager; HR Consultant; HR Business Partner; Learning and Development Manager; People manager.

Successful apprentices may also choose to progress on to a higher level qualification or vocationally related programmes.

Assessment centres include: a group exercise, presentation and individual interviews

(Assessment centres for this role are expected to take place between Feb - May 2025)
Offer
If successful we will extend you an offer to join our programmes and our recruitment teams will send you a contract of employment
Onboarding process
Our recruitment teams will complete the necessary background checks, register you with the programme training provider and obtain any personal information needed to begin your employment
Start
You'll then be ready to join us on your Apprenticeship programme
