Are you organised, proactive, and eager to start your career in business administration?

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you’ll play a key role in keeping teams moving, solving problems, and supporting the day-to-day operations that make Amazon run.

Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll build a highly transferable skill set that can be applied across industries — from communication and project coordination to data handling and stakeholder support. This is your opportunity to learn how a large organisation operates while contributing to meaningful work from day one.

About the role

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you’ll support a range of business functions across Amazon’s corporate teams. Your work may involve scheduling and planning, preparing documents, organising processes, analysing information, or helping teams stay on track with their priorities.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues across departments, learning how to manage multiple tasks efficiently while building strong communication and organisational skills.

Every day brings new opportunities to improve processes, support business operations, and develop the confidence to take ownership of your work. No two placements are the same - apprentices could join teams such as HR, Finance, Legal, Operations Support, or other corporate functions, depending on business need.

What You’ll Do

As a Business Administrator Apprentice, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use IT systems and software to complete administrative tasks effectively
  • Prepare accurate documents, reports, and communications
  • Support teams by organising calendars, meetings, and workflows
  • Create and maintain records, spreadsheets, and project documents
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders professionally
  • Prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency
