Are you curious about how digital products are created, improved, and launched? Do you enjoy solving problems and working with different teams?

As a Digital Product Manager Apprentice, you’ll be at the heart of product development - helping shape ideas, improve user experiences, and drive innovation across Amazon.

You’ll learn how to analyse user needs, prioritise features, support development teams, and use data to guide product decisions. Working alongside experienced product managers, designers, and engineers, you’ll gain the skills to help take products from concept to delivery.

About the role

As a Digital Product Manager Apprentice, you’ll work across a variety of digital products - from internal tools that power our operations to customer-facing experiences used by millions.

Your role sits at the crossroads of technology, design, and business strategy. You’ll help teams understand customer needs, define product goals, and track the success of the features you help deliver.

Depending on business needs, your placement could sit within teams such as Retail, Operations, Amazon Entertainment, Devices, or other digital-focused functions.

This apprenticeship gives you a unique opportunity to see how ideas become real products - and to contribute to meaningful improvements along the way.

You’ll support the full lifecycle of digital product development. A typical day might include:

  • Gathering user insights and analysing market trends
  • Supporting product discovery activities and contributing to product strategy
  • Helping to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and product requirements
  • Prioritising features and contributing to sprint planning
  • Working with designers and engineers to bring new features to life
  • Monitoring product metrics and evaluating performance
  • Communicating updates to stakeholders and documenting progress
