About the Role
As a Finance Apprentice, you’ll join Amazon as a Financial Analyst and rotate across three different placements over the course of your programme. These rotations expose you to a variety of finance disciplines including Accounting, Finance, and Tax, giving you a broad and well-rounded understanding of how financial decisions are made in a global organisation.
Your rotations could take place in teams across many areas of Amazon, such as AWS, Retail, Fresh, Prime Video, or other corporate and operational business lines. Every team operates differently, giving you the chance to explore a range of financial processes and business models.
While each placement varies, all roles require analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate financial insights clearly. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, supporting financial processes, helping interpret data, and contributing to decisions that impact customers and business performance.
Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll combine technical learning with hands-on experience, gaining the confidence and expertise to grow into a professional finance career.
What You’ll Do
During your rotations, you’ll support financial processes that help leaders make informed, sustainable decisions. You’ll analyse complex data, prepare reports, and collaborate with teams across the business.
You’ll help shape financial performance by interpreting trends, supporting forecasting, and providing insights that guide strategic decision-making.

Eligibility requirements
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must:
- Be 18+ before the start date (September 2026)
- Have the right to live and work in England for the programme duration
- Have lived in the UK/EEA for the last 3 years
- Be a UK resident for the full duration
- Not be registered on another government-funded course ending August 2026 or later
- Hold 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above, including Maths and English
- Hold 3 A Levels at grades BBC (or equivalent)
- Not already hold a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level
- Provide a UK ENIC Statement of Comparability if you studied internationally
